It's time America had a song they could get excited about and truly rally around. A song that will make your pride in America swell and patriotism flourish. This is that song.

ABOUT THE SONG

HISTORY

I actually wrote the body of this song shortly after the 9/11 attack on America. As fate would have it progress stalled partly because of life's slings and arrows but also because I wasn't pleased with what I had. The song stayed on my mind and eventually the changes were made. The fact that this song stayed with me so long shows that I always felt this song was in some way important and should be heard.

With what is going on in the U.S. today I truly feel this song is needed now more than ever. I believe it can bring the suppressed patriotism in all of "Us" (the citizens of the U.S.) back to the surface where it belongs. Everyone needs to remember that as individuals we are merely people but when we stand together, as one, we form the most powerful nation on the face of this planet, the United States of America!

It was he who instilled the deeply heartfelt patriotism that I still carry with me today and it is to him that I dedicate this song. I am just another one of the countless American Citizens who would like to help America get back on the track.
